I looked for a shutdown notice on the store listings, the Nightmarket site and the public posts. I did not find one. A missing notice is not a promise that the game runs forever. It is the reason the answer is “still listed”, not “permanent”.
“Offline” in search does not match an official offline mode. PvP and events need a connection. I will not write that the campaign works on a plane.
A sequel is the other rumor. No Burst Rivals 2 listing exists on these stores. “Coming back” usually means the 2018 app, which has not left.
